I'm so frustrated that it's actually hard for me to figure out how to articulate myself. A lump in my throat is my signal that something is not right. I can feel it in my bones too. In my head...a pressure. It's not right. It's not right what is happening to our country.
We are no longer the symbol, the hope, the beacon on the horizon. Because of our lack of leadership, disintegraton of integrity and truth and overwhelming greed and corruption, a darkness has fallen on our beloved country. And I love this country. I do. And those who continue to support our leadership are failing to honor what our forefathers intended this great nation and people to be. They are completely shunning responsibility to themselves, the earth and fellow man.
I want to do something about this because I can sit here and rant and rave and complain and cry, but in reality I believe that action, including the action of being or silence as powerfully demonstrated by Gandhi, is what will relieve this physical and physiological unease.
What can I do? What are the steps to save our beloved America and to restore her to her glory? What can be done to prevent further destruction of nature and lives?
Each day, I will return to this section and list something I did. Some little or small gesture, not for any recognition, but instead as a way of documenting how to curl up to the force that can restore America....
She must be rescued from the hands that hold her back from guiding and leading the world toward true freedom.
